We were able to field seven regular season teams, compared to six in past years. Nearly 90 kids ages 13-15 from Bigfork, Columbia Falls and Whitefish enjoyed Glacier Babe Ruth’s regular season and end-of-season tournament.

Nov 12, 2011: Elected to follow Walling was Bruce McEvoy of Whitefish. McEvoy began his adult involvement as a coach in the Glacier Babe Ruth League in the early 1980s. He was a league president before being elected as district commissioner in 1981. He has been the assistant state commissioner since 2007.
